What are symptoms of hysterial pregnancy?

Q. So these are symptoms I don't normally have & am having now:
Sensitive breasts
Lower back pain
Near constant nausea (at times)
Sensitivity to smells
Irregular cramping

Are these all normal? I wanna be preg but know I am not is this like a mild case of hysterical pregnancy?

A. The symptoms of pregnancy and hysterical pregnancy are identical, although hysterical pregnancy symptoms may start sooner. If you're getting the symptoms more than 4 or 5 days before your period is due you can be reasonably certain that they're not legitimate pregnancy symptoms, as it takes that long for your body to even realize it's pregnant and start producing HCG.

What were your symptoms of pregnancy at 5 weeks?
Q. What were your symptoms at 5 weeks. I feel like I'm having a hysterical pregnancy or something. I have taken multiple hpts and they are all positive, and my period is MIA, but I have few other symptoms. No puking, no tender nipples, etc. My actual breasts are sore but no more than if I was PMSing, and I'm emotional. Am I on the right track? Is it too early on for me to be having those other symptoms?

A. None.

How can I tell if my dog is pregnant, at home?
Q. She either has hysterical pregnancy or the real deal. I lately noticed a real pregnancy belly on her and she is acting different. She has all the signs of being pregnant. Any way I can know for sure?

I will go to the vet. But can't go until Monday, unfortunately!

A. Instructions.
1. Pay close attention to your dog's eating habits. If she has a decreased appetite or isn't showing much interest in her favorite chow, this could be a sign of morning sickness.

2.Check for vaginal discharge, a common sign of pregnancy.

3. Notice if your dog has enlarged teats. A female dog's nipples will become engorged in preparation for nursing her pups.

4. Look for behavioral changes in your dog. If she is usually active and appears unusually tired, she may be pregnant. Appearing uncomfortable or signs of general unrest can be tell-tale signs as well.

5. Check your dog's stomach to see if it appears enlarged or swollen. This symptom occurs midway through the pregnancy. You may even be able to gently feel for the puppies as well.

6. Look for signs of "nesting," your dog's way of getting ready for the birth and aftercare of the puppies. She may scratch at the floor or the blankets as if to fluff them.

another one:

Take note of changes in your dog's energy level. The first sign of canine pregnancy is that your dog will want to be left alone more than usual. She will feel really tired and lose interest in playing.

2 Check to see if your dog's nipples are getting bigger. This can be a sign of a real or false pregnancy. Either one needs veterinary attention.

3 Take your dog to your vet. The vet can do a non-invasive test called a "palpitation" when the puppies are 28 days old. An ultrasound would need to be done if the puppies are suspected of being younger than that.

4 Watch for changes in your dog's eating patterns. When the puppies are about one month old, their mother's appetite will become enourmous. Her nipples will also become large and stay large. She should start showing a bump at this time. These are tell-tale signs that puppies are on the way.

5 Watch her behavior as time goes on. When the third month of pregnancy approaches, Mom will look for dark, quiet, warm corners of your home to try and choose a place to make her nest. She might even drag her favorite toys to these places. You'd best make a nest for her and encourage her to go there.

6 Take her temperature as the day gets close. Your dog will usually give birth (whelp) within 24 hours from when her temperature drops to 99 degrees F. (Her normal temperature should be 101 to 102 degrees F.)

So I just took a pregnancy test ten minutes ago and faint positive?
Q. I read it within 3 minutes and it came out with a faint positive. I do not know what to do because i have the implanon in my arm atm and I am convinced that its a hysterical pregnancy. Idk what to do what should I do? Im taking a test tomorrow morning right when i get up would that be better? Any advice would be helpful.

Can you have linea nigrea during a hysterical pregnancy?

Q. HI every1, just have a question: i have had irregular periods ever since my miscarriage last year. i finally got a period last month and it lasted on and off for about 3 weeks. now i'm getting a really bloated belly, headaches, backaches, breast pain, linea nigrea, nausea and tiredness. i haven't gotten my period yet and i should have about two weeks ago. my belly is very bloated and yet i have lost 1 pound and my weight hasn't gone up at all. i also noticed that my pants do not fit anymore. i do not use protection with my husband other then the withdrawl method. but we truly did not think i could get pregnant with my irregularity. does this sound like a pregnancy or can you get the line and symptoms if your having a hysterical pregnancy? i also have hpv and precancer on my cervix, so i really didn't want to get pregnant now. i wanted to wait till i was ready.

A. Take a test. HPV and the cervical changes it causes will not harm the baby as long as your OB is prepared for it. Since cervical cancer is so slow growing and low grade changes usually resolve on their own, pregnancy and holding off treatment during it will most likely not harm you.

What causes a hysterical pregnancy?
Q. My boyfriend passed away on 6/9 within that week I got my period it was a little longer than usual. A couple of weeks after I started feeling nausea and took a test it was negative. Now here it is july and I'm late, my stomach feels weird at times I haven't taken another test yet I wanted to go to the doctor if I don't get it by 8/1..I was wondering if this could be a hysterical pregnancy due to the stress I've been under?

A. I think its stress. I could be wrong but I think hysterical preg. is when you think you're preg. like you think you feel the baby moving and stuff like that. You start to get ready for a baby that is not coming.
I am deeply sorry about your loss.

Can a blood test for pregnancy be wrong?
Q. I feel like I'm pregnant but I took to home pregnany tests and they both came back negative and a blood test yesterday and that came back negative too but I still feel like I'm pregnant. Could the test be wrong? And if it is could I be going through a hysterical pregnancy?

A. It could be that you're testing too early (for either blood or home pregnancy test). A good number of women have to wait for up to a week late for their period before they're able to get an accurate home pregnancy test result - a few have to be even later than that. Blood tests are more accurate, but there's still a chance that you need to wait longer.

Is it possible for spayed cat to be pregnant?
Q. My cat is about 3 years old now and was spayed at 2 after having her second batch of kittens. Lately I've noticed her having symptoms of pregnancy again which worries me. Is it possible that she could get pregnant if she was spayed or if she had a surgery that wasn't done correct? Also, is it possible for a cat to have hysterical pregnancy, perhaps?

A. The most standard spay routine takes out the uterus and the ovaries, so nothing is left in the cat to produce or contain any kittens.

If a little bit of ovary tissue was left behind, a cat may be able to go into heat due to the hormones still being released from the tissue, but she would not be able to produce kittens.

am i pregnant even if the blood test was positive?
Q. I had two positive urine tests and one positive blood test.
But is there a chance it may be a hysterical pregnancy?

A. blood tests are always right you are pregnant

If a person claims to be pregnant more than 42 weeks and shows all of the physical signs,?
Q. would this be considered a hysterical pregnancy, which would ultimately mean mental issues? Correct?

A. She could be 42 weeks pregnant. It's possible her due date was off a bit and she really is only 40 weeks. I had an induction of a Somali woman last week who had been refusing induction and was known 100% to be 43w 3d.

If she doesn't deliver in the next 2 weeks though I would start becoming suspicious.

Why is my shrimp carrying around sand and hording food and dead fishes?
Q. My shrimp is carrying around volcanic sand like it's eggs and has been stealing away pellets. Today it took a dead fish (before we got to it) and dragged it around. Not sure if it was eating it..though it hid away somewhere for a while before dragging it around again.
Does this shrimp have hysterical pregnancy or something?

Is it possible for teens to have Hysterical Pregnancy?

Q. I am a virgin so don't suggest I'm actually pregnant.

I started my first period in July and haven't got one since. I spotted a little in September but that was it. And at random times during the day I feel nauseous.

There is no possibiltity that I am actuallly pregnant but stil.. Those symptoms are very strange. So is it possible for a teen to experience hysterical pregnancy? Especially if you are curious about what itis like to be pregnant. If not what's going on..?

A. It is possible for a teenager to have a false pregnancy, however, it is usually brought on by the actual possibility of being pregnant, or some other psychological thing.
You probably just have irregular periods, and your other symptoms are due to something else and most likely not related at all.
So, go see your doctor! They can put you on birth control to help regulate your periods. I was on birth control well before I lost my virginity for this very reason. My periods were irregular. And actually, the hormones can help to make your periods less heavy, they can make you get less cramps and bloating, too. I think being on birth control to regulate your menstrual cycle is a great thing!
Don't worry that you're having a false pregnancy. I'm sure that everything you're going through is normal and you are just psyching yourself out. So relax, talk to your parents, talk to a doctor, and enjoy better periods!

These are tell-tale signs that puppies are on the way.

am i pregnant even if the blood test was positive?

I have most of the symptoms of being pregnant but my test came back negative? what does this mean?
Q. Ive been wanting to get pregnant for a while. my boyfriend and i have been doing everything right. I've got tender brests, my tastes for food are changing, i eat a lot more. i pee a lot more. ive thrown up a couple times but not in the morning. and my test said negative. am i having a hysterical pregnancy?

A. Those are all the symptoms for pregnancy BUT it might be sphycological. That happened to me. I have been trying to get pregnant and at some point I wanted to be pregnant so bad that it was all I thought about. I then started having pregnancy symptoms, everything you can think of. I threw up, had headaches, was bloated and so on. My husband and I were convince that I was because it had never happened before. But like I said, it was all sphycological. My period showed up 5 days late. And when I googled the situation, I seen that the exact same thing happens to women everywhere. You have to relax and just wait for your period to show up or not. I know it is extremely hard, but just try to keep your mind busy. Everytime a ttc thought comes up, distract your mind. I hope you get the results you want because the other possibility is that you are pregnant but there just isnt enough hcg in your system for a pregnancy test to pick up. Good Luck hun. Baby dust

What causes a hysterical pregnancy?
Q. My boyfriend passed away on 6/9 within that week I got my period it was a little longer than usual. A couple of weeks after I started feeling nausea and took a test it was negative. A. I think its stress. I could be wrong but I think hysterical preg. is when you think you're preg. like you think you feel the baby moving and stuff like that. You start to get ready for a baby that is not coming.
I am deeply sorry about your loss.
